Basketball Recap: Irvington Preparatory Academy Comes Up Short

Irvington Preparatory Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars, falling 65-25. The matchup marked Irvington Preparatory Academy's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Irvington Preparatory Academy still got an impressive performance from Kase Johnson, who posted six points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was RJ Starks, who earned six points.

Irvington Preparatory Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Irvington Preparatory Academy will challenge Indiana Math & Science Academy North at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cougars face off against the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
