Soccer Recap: St. Anthony Comes Up Short

The St. Anthony Roman Legion lost 9-1 to the Menomonee Falls Phoenix on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as St. Anthony were already down 6-0.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Anthony and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Menomonee Falls, they pushed their record up to 9-8-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. St. Anthony will head out to take on Dominican at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dominican's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Menomonee Falls, they will challenge Wauwatosa East at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
