Volleyball Game Preview: Godwin Eagles vs. Clover Hill Cavaliers + Official Tickets

The Godwin Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Clover Hill Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Godwin and Deep Run had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Tuesday. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Wildcats since Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Clover Hill posted their closest win since September 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Monacan 3-2. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Clover Hill now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Godwin, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-10.

Everything went Godwin's way against Clover Hill when the teams last played back in August of 2017, as Godwin made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cavaliers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
