Soccer Recap: Kirtland Central Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Kirtland Central was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Rehoboth Christian Lynx. Kirtland Central were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Rehoboth Christian earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Kirtland Central's goal came courtesy of Angel Acosta, who's now up to 12 this season.

Kirtland Central now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Rehoboth Christian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Kirtland Central didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Miyamura on the 13th. As for Rehoboth Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against Silver on the 13th.
