Baseball Recap: Farina South Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Flora on Friday, Farina South Central came back down to earth. The Cougars fell 6-2 to North Clay/Clay City on Tuesday.

Farina South Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Smith, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Farina South Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for North Clay/Clay City, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Farina South Central will take on Flora at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Clay/Clay City, they will square off against Charleston at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
