Baseball Recap: Tucson High Magnet School's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Tucson High Magnet School had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Eagle Mustangs. That's two games straight that the Badgers have won by just one run.

Tucson High Magnet School got a great performance from Luis Camacho as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). Those six strikeouts gave Camacho a new career-high.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Alan Krimpe, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Tenochtli Nepan Ollin also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Tucson High Magnet School's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Eagle, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tucson High Magnet School will welcome Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hamilton will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Tucson High Magnet School surely won't give up without a fight. As for Eagle, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Ridgevue at 6:30 p.m.
