Rye had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 66-54 win over the Denver Jewish Day Tigers on Friday.

Eli Guzman was a one-man wrecking crew as he shot 5-for-9 from long range and dropped a double-double with 29 points and 17 boards.
