Baseball Game Recap: Southeast Takes a Loss

Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northeast Vikings. Southeast was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Northeast apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

For Northeast's part, Spencer Wade was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Indica Hollaway, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Northeast, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: they beat Southeast by a score of 12-2 later that day.
