L.E.A.D. Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sophia Harold led the charge by scoring 16 points along with eight assists and two steals. That's the first time this season that Harold posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Harold, who scored 11 points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, Pensacola Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Pensacola Catholic on Friday, taking the game 41-31.
Pensacola Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madeline Sellars, who scored 20 points. Sellars continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Leah Adams, who scored three points along with five rebounds and three steals.
L.E.A.D. Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Pensacola Christian Academy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5.
