Baseball Recap: Gainesville Find Success

After losing to Forsyth Central the last time they met, Gainesville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Gainesville Red Elephants came out on top in a nail-biter against the Forsyth Central Bulldogs on Monday, sneaking past 4-3.

Silas Ingram looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit every time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Cohen Miller was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Gainesville's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Forsyth Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
