Volleyball Game Preview: Chesterton Trojans vs. Crown Point Bulldogs

Chesterton is 0-10 against Crown Point since September of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Chesterton sitting on 12 straight wins and Crown Point on 13.

On Thursday, Chesterton made easy work of Valparaiso and carried off a 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was Chesterton's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Crown Point beat Benton Central 2-0 on Saturday.

Crown Point not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Benton Central between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19.

Chesterton's record now sits at 24-3. As for Crown Point, their record is now 21-1.

Chesterton came up short against Crown Point when the teams last played on September 4th, falling 3-1. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Bulldogs' Bella Del Real, who had 30 digs and three aces.
