KIPP San Jose Collegiate's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Luis Valdez Leadership Academy Lions. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolfpack as it put an end to their nine-match losing streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-3, 16-25, 25-23.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead KIPP San Jose Collegiate to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kayla Le, who had eight digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Le a new career-high.

Le wasn't the only good servers: KIPP San Jose Collegiate was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 46 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

KIPP San Jose Collegiate's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Luis Valdez Leadership Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 11-6 record.
