Softball Recap: Nokomis Redskins vs. New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers
Nokomis extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 4-17 in the process. They lost 12-6 to the New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers. The Redskins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vipers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.
Maddison DeWerff made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-3. Those home runs were her first of the season.
