Volleyball Recap: Ann Sobrato Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ann Sobrato lost against Cupertino back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-11, 19-25, 25-16, 25-18.

Rae Barua paced Ann Sobrato's offense, picking up eight kills. Barua got some help from Jordan Bouton and her 15 assists. Olivia Scatena controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Ann Sobrato's record now sits at 10-15. As for Cupertino, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Ann Sobrato has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Santa Cruz on the 17th. As for Cupertino, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against MacDonald on the 20th.
