Basketball Game Preview: Atascocita Eagles vs. Humble Wildcats

The Atascocita Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Humble Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Atascocita is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since December 13, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 52-30 to Summer Creek. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Humble against Channelview on Saturday as the team secured a 59-24 victory. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while the Falcons are ranked 1263rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Atascocita's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Humble, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season.

Atascocita lost to Humble on the road by a decisive 44-30 margin in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Atascocita avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
