After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bob Jones, Hardin Valley Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 13-6 margin over the Walker Valley Mustangs. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Hardin Valley Academy considering their two-run performance the matchup before.
Jacob Dillon made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over 4.2 innings while giving up two earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. Dillon was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
In other pitching news, Camden Huckaby looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also didn't allow any walks).
