The Leadership Public Schools Richmond Pumas will venture away from home to challenge the Mare Island Tech Academy Griffins at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Leadership Public Schools Richmond hasn't scored more than 22 points for six games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Last Wednesday, Leadership Public Schools Richmond had to suffer through a 43-8 loss at the hands of Coliseum College Prep Academy. While losing is never fun, the Pumas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1192nd, while the Lions are ranked 541st).

Meanwhile, Mare Island Tech Academy lost to North Hills Christian on the road by a 33-15 margin on Thursday.

Leadership Public Schools Richmond's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Mare Island Tech Academy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
