Volleyball Recap: Northwest Christian Falls Short of Mary Walker in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Northwest Christian couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the Mary Walker Chargers on Wednesday. If the Wolverines were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Chargers when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 15-25, 25-20, 25-14.

Northwest Christian's loss ended a seven-match streak of away wins and brought them to 25-7. As for Mary Walker, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.

Northwest Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mary Walker, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Fellowship Christian on the 12th.
