Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jack Cook and Brody Burke Lead Roosevelt to Victory + How To Watch

Roosevelt won the last time they faced Canon City and things went their way on Friday too. The Roughriders took down the Tigers 51-32. The Roughriders pushed the score to 43-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers cut but never quite recovered from.

Leading Roosevelt to victory were Brody Burke and Jack Cook. Burke dropped a double-double with ten points and 14 rebounds, while Cook went 6-for-11 en route to 17 points. Those 14 boards gave Burke a new career-high. Heydyn Bahnsen-Price was another key player, putting up ten points.

Roosevelt has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 61.5 points this season. As for Canon City, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
