Basketball Recap: Fremont Takes a Loss

Fremont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Whitehall Vikings, falling 74-33. The contest marked the Packers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Camden Thompson was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 27 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists for Whitehall. Thompson's evening made it 19 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brock Morningstar, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Whitehall, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Fremont will look to defend their home court on Monday against Big Rapids at 7:00 p.m. As for Whitehall, they will head out on the road to challenge Orchard View at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
