Basketball Recap: Rancho Verde Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Rancho Verde won the last time they faced Arlington and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rancho Verde Mustangs strolled past the Arlington Lions with points to spare, taking the game 74-55. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Lions are ranked 436th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
