Basketball Recap: Harding Takes a Loss

Harding lost against Washington back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Raiders fell 65-54 to the Tigers. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Washington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Delaney Pierce, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards. Pierce's afternoon made it 16 games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Nicola, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Washington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Harding will take on Struthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Washington, they will face off against Harvest Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
