Softball Recap: Pebble Hills Comes Up Short

If Pebble Hills was riding high fresh off their 17-0 takedown of Fabens on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pebble Hills Spartans lost 12-2 to the Americas Trail Blazers on Friday. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trail Blazers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Pebble Hills saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Syan Saldana, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Pebble Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Americas, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-9.

Pebble Hills didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-1 win against Parkland on the 1st. As for Americas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Chapin on the 28th.
