Soccer Recap: Lewis Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Lewis unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 4-0 to the Forest Park Foresters on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lewis of the 6-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The victory (which was Forest Park's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Forest Park is taking a road trip to challenge Douglass at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Lewis will be paying especially close attention to the Foresters' contest: after the Foresters face off against the Mighty Ducks, they'll take on Lewis again at 3:45 p.m. on October 6.
