Football Recap: Clarke Takes a Loss

Clarke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 57-0 loss at the hands of the Clarinda Cardinals. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

Clarke's record now sits at 2-5. As for Clarinda, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Clarke is set to take on their familiar foe Van Meter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Clarinda will face off against rival Woodward-Granger at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
