After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Aubrey, Van Alstyne was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Lake Dallas Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Van Alstyne walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-12, 25-23.

Van Alstyne's win bumped their record up to 25-13. As for Lake Dallas, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-19 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Van Alstyne will challenge rival Panther Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lake Dallas is set to face off against their familiar foe Sanger at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
