The Esparto Spartans suffered their biggest loss since December 11, 2023 on Tuesday. They suffered a rough 47-21 defeat at the hands of Vacaville Christian. Esparto was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-7.
Despite the loss, Esparto still got an impressive performance from Khalia Moore, who scored ten points.
Esparto's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Vacaville Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Esparto will head out on the road to take on Golden Sierra at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Golden Sierra focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 last Friday. As for Vacaville Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Highlands at 6:00 p.m.
