Football Recap: Spaulding Comes Up Short

If Spaulding was feeling good fresh off their 54-0 takedown of Missisquoi Valley last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crimson Tide fell 14-7 to the Mt. Abraham Eagles on Saturday. The Crimson Tide were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Spaulding has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Mt. Abraham, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Spaulding will square off against U-32 at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Abraham, they will face off against Poultney at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
