Emerald came out on top against Broome on Friday thanks in part to Beau Hite's efforts. Hite threw for 200 yards and four touchdowns, which was good enough to set a new career-high in passing touchdowns.

Looking ahead, Hite and Emerald will be playing at home against Strom Thurmond at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hite will face off against Bri'Shaun Lee, the Rebels' star quarterback.
