Volleyball Game Preview: Fountain Valley Danes vs. Evangel Christian Academy Eagles

The Fountain Valley Danes will take on the Evangel Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Fountain Valley came up short against Thomas MacLaren School on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-16.

If Cotopaxi wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Evangel Christian Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Bailey Roberts. The Eagles put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 3-0 victory on Saturday with plenty of help from Roberts, who had 13 digs and six aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-14, 25-17.

Fountain Valley dropped their record down to 9-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Evangel Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
