Jacob Varner Game Report: vs Harrisburg

Trinity came out on top against Harrisburg on Thursday thanks in part to Jacob Varner's efforts. The Cougars had no answer to Varner as he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). Varner has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
