Spanish Fork has gone a perfect 3-0 against Juab recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Dons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wasps at 3:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Spanish Fork has five straight wins, Juab has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
If Spanish Fork beats Juab with ten runs on Thursday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Dons didn't even let Timpview on the board on Tuesday, marking the Dons' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Dons, who have now won five matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Not much got past Anaca Olsen, who gave up just three hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Timpview off the board. Those 11 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Olsen.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lia Higginson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Overturf, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Juab didn't have quite enough to beat Canyon View on Tuesday and fell 13-11.
Delaney Long made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Mollie Blankenagel, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
Spanish Fork's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Juab, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
Juab's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Spanish Fork has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. It's a different story for Juab, though, as they've been averaging 9.6 hits. Given Spanish Fork's sizable advantage in that area, the Wasps will need to find a way to close that gap.
