Football Game Preview: Salem Hills Skyhawks vs. Mountain View Bruins + Official Tickets

Two dominant signal callers in Ryder Hales and Tate Johnson are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Salem Hills Skyhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mountain View Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Salem Hills will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

Salem Hills is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Bonneville 48-7. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Salem Hills had a senior duo take command as Benjamin Staheli gained 152 total yards and three touchdowns and Treygan Fusselman rushed for 80 yards and one TD on only eight carries. Staheli's longest rush was for an impressive 63 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Meanwhile, Mountain View entered their contest against Provo on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bruins were outmatched by the Bulldogs and fell 69-7. The Bruins were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Salem Hills will have to contain Briggy Moses as he made an impact in Mountain View's last game. He picked up 111 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Salem Hills' win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Mountain View, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 3-6.

Everything came up roses for Salem Hills against Mountain View when the teams last played last Thursday, as the team secured a 42-7 victory. In that matchup, the Skyhawks amassed a halftime lead of 35-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
