Volleyball Recap: Waukesha West Wins High-Profile Contest Against Madison West

Waukesha West faced Madison West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wolverines walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Regents. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolverines as it put an end to their five-match losing streak.

Ryan McMahon paced Waukesha West's offense, picking up nine kills. McMahon got some help from Cooper Maddern and his 16 assists. Carter Polowy controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The victory got Waukesha West back to even at 12-12. As for Madison West, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.

Waukesha West has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Indian Trail on the 4th. As for Madison West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Dominican on the 4th.
