Big Valley Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. Everything went their way against the Sonora Wildcats as they made off with a 53-33 victory. The Lions not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since December 19, 2024 (when they won 74-28).

Titus Boone had a dynamite game, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 21 points along with six boards and five steals. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brody Butler, who posted eight points.

Big Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 50-34 win against River Islands on the 25th. As for Sonora, they will take on Liberty Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
