Acalanes is 9-1 against College Park since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Acalanes Dons are taking a road trip to face off against the College Park Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

College Park will be up against a hot Acalanes team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. Acalanes enjoyed a cozy 66-50 victory over Concord on Thursday. Given the Dons' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Bears are ranked 1041st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

College Park has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 74-64 to Campolindo on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (58), the Falcons still had to take the loss.

Acalanes will need focus on slowing down Miles Cooper, one of several College Park players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Steven Barnett, who put up 16 points.

Acalanes has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for College Park, their loss dropped their record down to 16-9.

Acalanes came up short against College Park in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 69-58. Can Acalanes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
