Rosemount came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Farmington Tigers 35-7. Given the Irish's advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Tigers are ranked 100th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rosemount's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Farmington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
