Baseball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia's last matchup with Elma could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Friday. The Bruins lost 11-4 to the Eagles. The Bruins just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Columbia saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Wang, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Wang also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Elma, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia will head out to square off against King's Way Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elma, they will take on Montesano at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
