Volleyball Recap: Capitan Takes a Loss

Capitan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Cloudcroft Bears, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 25-13.

Capitan's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Cloudcroft, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Capitan will challenge rival Mescalero Apache at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Cloudcroft is set to face off against their familiar foe Lordsburg at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
