Basketball Recap: Elkin Takes a Loss

Elkin lost against Forbush back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Buckin' Elks took a blow against the Falcons, falling 59-15.

Elkin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Forbush, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Elkin will face off against East Surry at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Forbush, they will square off against Wheatmore at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
