Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norway). They blew past the Rapid River Rockets 89-41 on Friday. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Rockets are ranked 455th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Norway's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points per game. As for Rapid River, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Norway will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Forest Park at 6:45 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Rapid River will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Manistique at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
