Basketball Game Preview: Northridge Raiders vs. Culver Academies Eagles

The Northridge Raiders will head out on the road to challenge the Culver Academies Eagles at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Northridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

If Northridge beats Culver Academies with 68 points on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Raiders beat Westview on Monday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 68-56. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Culver Academies was able to grind out a solid victory over Indy Warriors FC Homeschool on Monday, taking the game 67-57. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly ten points.

Northridge's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Culver Academies, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Everything came up roses for Northridge against Culver Academies in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 59-30 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
