Preview: Nease vs. Sandalwood
After three games on the road, Nease is heading back home. They will take on Sandalwood at 7:20 p.m. on Friday. Nease will be strutting in after a victory while Sandalwood will be coming in after a loss.
On Thursday, Nease kept a clean sheet against Fernandina Beach. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Fernandina Beach.
Nease was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Austen Escoffery and
Austin Mills, who scored.
Meanwhile, Sandalwood didn't get the result they wanted in their first contest with Bolles on Thursday. They put up a good fight, but they still had to settle for second after a 1-0 defeat on Thursday. They have not had much luck with Bolles recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
The victory got Nease back to even at 5-5-3. As for Sandalwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-5.
Nease took their victory against Sandalwood when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 5-0. Does Nease have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sandalwood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
