Basketball Recap: Alamance Christian's Undefeated Season over After Five Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Grace Christian Academy last Thursday, Alamance Christian came back down to earth. The Warriors took a 72-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Triad Baptist Christian Academy Titans on Tuesday. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Triad Baptist Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jayden Pringle out in front who shot 47% from the field to rack up 24 points. Pringle's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 23 points. Another player making a difference was Kayden Weyant, who went 6-for-12 en route to 17 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Alamance Christian fell to 4-1. As for Triad Baptist Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alamance Christian will venture away from home to square off against Union Grove Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Triad Baptist Christian Academy, they will head out to take on Asheboro Hybrid Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. The Titans will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 64 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
