Baseball Game Preview: South Point Red Raiders vs. Crest Chargers

South Point is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Crest is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. South Point will welcome Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Point will be strutting in after a win while Crest will be coming in after a loss.

While South Point's victory against Huss wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. South Point came out on top in a nail-biter against Huss on Friday, sneaking past 4-2.

Meanwhile, Crest unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against Stuart W. Cramer, falling 11-3.

South Point's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Crest, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 9-4.

South Point couldn't quite get it done against Crest in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 12-7. Can South Point avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
