Basketball Game Preview: Montesano Bulldogs vs. Hoquiam Grizzlies

The Montesano Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Hoquiam Grizzlies at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Monday, Montesano ended up a good deal behind Tenino and lost 43-28.

Meanwhile, Hoquiam was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 66-61 to Aberdeen. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Montesano's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8. As for Hoquiam, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Montesano was able to grind out a solid win over Hoquiam in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 54-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Montesano since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
