Softball Recap: Red Boiling Springs Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Red Boiling Springs's offense. They lost 22-0 to the Gordonsville Tigers on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in March.

Red Boiling Springs' loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Gordonsville, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Red Boiling Springs is set to square off against their familiar foe Clay County on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gordonsville will take on rival Pickett County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
