While Bellevue Christian's win against Cascade Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Cougars on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vikings have posted against the Cougars since April 28, 2023.
Cash Erdman was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Mason Hill and Declan Englund did most of the damage at the plate: Hill went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Englund got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one double.
