Basketball Recap: Germantown Christian Comes Up Short

They were beaten by Castine Christian 58-26. The Conquerors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-12.

Despite the loss, Germantown Christian still got an impressive performance from Grace Smith, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds.

Germantown Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Castine Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Germantown Christian will venture away from home to face off against Christian Academy at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Castine Christian, they will square off against Bowling Green Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bowling Green Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 19 points per game this season, so Castine Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
