Basketball Recap: Druid Hills Red Devils vs. Clarkston Angoras
Druid Hills managed to keep up with Clarkston until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Red Devils were dealt a 70-26 defeat at the hands of the Angoras. The Red Devils have struggled against the Angoras recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Clarkston found their leader in sophomore Grace Kasongo, who dropped a double-double with 34 points and 17 rebounds. With that strong performance, Kasongo is now averaging an impressive 8.7 boards per game. Genet Abatie was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten assists.
Druid Hills' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Clarkston, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
